About

Anna Shore Art decorative banner

I have been sewing for as long as I can remember. I have always loved pattern and colour. I studied for my foundation art degree at Great Yarmouth College of Art and Design, later specialising in Fashion and Textiles at Leicester University. Much of my inspiration comes from visiting the Norfolk Coast, first sketching then applying my ideas. I am also inspired and constantly experimenting as a textile artist using different mediums in my work. I have recently produced a collection of embroidered mixed media pieces, focusing more on human forms including nudes, portraits and abstract patterns.

I have recently moved into the modern age and love using my iPad for photos and manipulating the images for use in my studio. My work has been sold worldwide and I have exhibited at many shows in London and Hertfordshire.

I am also a member of The West Norfolk Artists Association.

To see my work please visit the Skylark Galleries in Gabriel’s Wharf, London from July 1 2018 – September 30 2018. More information on the event can be found here: www.skylarkgalleries.com

Please contact me directly if you are in interested in commissioning me for a unique piece of work.
